How to discuss financing safely

Ask for the written terms before authorizing work and compare the total repayment amount, not only a monthly payment. The financing provider determines approval and credit terms when a provider is involved. ELM's construction estimate and a lender's credit agreement are separate documents and should be reviewed separately.
